Product manager Junior

TECS is currently transforming from a project-oriented payment specialist to an innovative payments product company, with ambition to scale globally in the coming years. The inhouse build TECS payment platform with rich omnichannel payment functionality and extensive connectivity to acquirers and payment methods, provides a unique base for developing innovative payment products. We are looking for a Junior Product Manager to own new TECS payments products. If you do not have any significant experience in the role, you can join our team, learn and grow within TECS. As a Junior Product Manager at TECS you will be responsible for the support of product planning and execution throughout the product lifecycle. You will work very close with the sales team and at the same time with TECS technical experts, analysts and developers. Your future tasks:

The responsibilities of a Junior Product Manager will depend on experience level, We expect you to gradually grow into a Product Management role with the following responsibilities:

  • Work collaboratively with internal development team and sales team to build the best possible payments products and solutions.
  • Identify opportunities for TECS product innovation, determine product specifications and business requirements.
  • Scope and prioritize varying degree of projects, from small improvements and bug fixes to large changes in infrastructure and product.
  • Provide your payments expertise in discussing online payments opportunities for internal and external stakeholders.
  • Support of Sales and Marketing with the necessary product knowledge and technical expertise.
  • Ensure that TECS values are expressed throughout the product experience that our team creates.
  • Conduct internal and external product presentations.
TECS requirements:
  • 1+ year experience in payments product management, payment solutions development, or similar roles
  • Technology background is a plus, ability to understand customer requirements regarding product functionality and performance
  • Ability to identify market trends and opportunities, and a strong commercial mindset
  • Very good presentation and communication skills
  • High level of initiative and persistence with a solution-oriented approach
  • Fluent English, fluent German is an advantage
